Locations & fleet management

Safe transportation of our vehicles to you

BFT Mastclimbing is proud of the safety record of our fleet. This is why we always ensure that we take the most care when it comes to transporting our fleet to locations up and down the UK.

The key to our success is the fact that we own our fleet of vehicles ourselves. This means we can provide a faster service, with site deliveries and site clearances able to take place at a quicker speed without having to rely on others.

Without a requirement for contracted transport, this means we can fulfil the wishes of our customers in a more time-friendly manner, using equipment and resources that we know and trust.

We have numerous engineers strategically placed across the entire country to ensure that mast climbing equipment is delivered safely to your location and that we are on-hand should anything need our assistance.

We always ensure that inspections are regularly carried out on all of our fleet to maintain our high standards that have propelled us to become industry-leaders in mast climbing in the UK.

Our stringent and rigorous checks include pull tests, load charts and other thorough examinations that take place at regular intervals.

BFT Mastclimbing has been rewarded for our commitment to safety with the bronze award from the voluntary Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme. This indicates that our standards match the FORS standard for driver safety and vehicle safety. It also shows our commitment to the environment through monitoring fuel and tyre usage. We now aim to move onto the silver and gold awards as proof that we are always looking to drive our standards consistently higher.

Our people

Of course, our fleet can only be as good as the people that are operating it. This is why all our staff are certified through courses including our IPAF Operator Training, IPAF Demonstrator Training, IPAF Installer Training, IPAF CAP (Competent Assessed Person) and IPAF Advanced Installer Training.

This means you can rest assured that our operators know the fleet inside and out when it comes to using our equipment for work on your project, whatever it might be.

We provide the biggest number of IPAF training courses throughout the UK and we take our commitment to maintaining high standards of fleet management very seriously.

An impressive safety record

BFT Mastclimbing is proud of our safety record, which is why we invite anybody wanting to work with us to our Leighton Buzzard headquarters.

We have recently invested £500,000 into our training and safety facilities, giving you a great indication as to how much we look after our equipment. Indeed, we have committed over £30million to reinvesting in our machines and equipment since 2015, showing our dedication to putting our money where our mouth is.
